Are you tired of continuous changing pictures on your Desktop? Try this Active Desktop JAVA Wallpaper program with pictures from Erice inside. In the package are delivered two programs: One changing picture on your desktop depending on the time and months, however the second changing appearance of desktop depending on the time of day and the seasons of the year.

Notice:
For the best quality and correct work of the JAVA program, you should use 1024x768 screen resolution. Your screen resolution is:
This JAVA program working only with the Windows system with an Active Desktop. Please, check it in your manual or help system .

Instructions:

1. Click here to download the compress ZIP file.
2. Check the name of the main folder of your Windows system.
   Usually it is e.g. C:\Windows\ for Windows 98 or C:\Winnt for Windows 2000.
3. Recompress the ZIP file with the folder structure.
   Default path for this program is: "Windows\Web\Wallpaper\".
4. Find in your system similar path and if it is necessary put in the correct place all recompressed files:
   two HTM files and all data in the IMG folder (without any changes inside this folder).
5. If you changed the default path: "C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\",
   you should also change this location in the files:
   • Erice - change every month.HTM
   • Erice - change every season.HTM
   Both files are default located (after recompress ZIP file) in Windows\Web\Wallpaper\.
6. If you need change the path in the JAVA programs you should open listed above files in some editor
   e.g. notepad, the find the customize section and correct the path for root of data folder.
7. Now you can click right button of the mouse on your desktop, then select properties
   and select in section background one of the files:
   Erice - change every month or Erice - change every season.
   After them chose OK, and also confirm using of Active Desktop if it will required.
8. If all is O.K. you should see some picture from Erice on your Desktop.
   Now you can change month or time in your system for check correctness of the JAVA program.
   After every one change of the time or date you should click left button on your desktop
   and press F5 key (Refresh).
